APMA DONATIONS

IF ANYONE OR COMPANY IS INTERESTED IN DONATING EQUIPMENT, MARTIAL ARTS MATERIALS SUCH AS VIDEOS, TAPES, BOOKS, FINANCIAL DONATION OR ANY TYPE OF DONATION THAT WOULD ASSIST THE ASSOCIATION IN DEVELOPING THE MARTIAL ARTS IN ST. LUCIA AND ITS MEMBERS, WE WOULD WELCOME SUCH ASSISTANCE.


PLEASE NOTE ALL ASSISTANCE MUST MEET OUR CRITERIA OF ACCEPTANCE ESPECIALLY FINANCIAL DONATIONS WHICH CAN ONLY BE ACCEPTED BY APMA IF IT IS CHANNELED THROUGH OUR MINISTRY OF YOUTH DEVELOPMENT & SPORTS.


WE BELIEVE IN TRANSPARENCY AND HONESTY AND WANT TO DISCOURAGE ANY CRIMINAL OR FRAUDULENT ACTS FROM BRINGING OUR ORGANIZATION INTO DISREPUTE.


GUIDELINES FOR ACCEPTING DONATIONS

  1. All donations must be clearly identified and always documented properly especially for our accounting purposes
  2. Donations will only be received if it is done via our Affiliate Governing Body - The Ministry of Youth Development & Sports
  3. All donations must be given to the association and not directly to members, however the donor can make the request as to which member club they would like the donations to go to.
  4. If a donation is made to a particular member or club who is not in good standing with the association then the donation shall be held until that member is in good standing as determined by the board of Executive.
  5. No donations shall be received once there is a single shread of evidence of fraud. Any sign of fraudulent behaviour on the part of a donor must be reported immediately to the relevant authority.
  6. The Executive Board must give a concise report to the Ministry after the donation is handed down as to where , who and when the donation is given with all appropriate parties signing of an official document pertaining to the said donation.
  7. The executive Board will maintain a file on all members that have been given donations and their use of said donation.
  8. All donations must be decided upon hunanimously and appear to be in the best interest of the said club(s) at all times receiving it.
  9. Donations will be awarded on the basis of need.
  10. The Executive Board via the treasurer will keep an account of every single donation and the donor.
